A notebook, a rooftop and my grandmother's sky
I grew up in Almaty, Kazakhstan, between the mountains and a very big sky. My grandmother, my äje Raisa, read the stars, the numbers and the old qumalaq stones. On August nights she took me up to the roof and showed me where the planets were.
When I was seventeen I moved to London. She gave me a little gold crescent moon, which I still wear every day, and later her notebooks came to me.
"The stars don't decide your life. They show you the weather. You still choose the road."
That is how I write every reading: real planet positions, simple words, and practical days to act or to wait.
